Music

I will be teaching Grade Five and Six Music this year and appreciate the enthusiasm of the students, especially in their scale learning. We started in Grade Five by singing the C major scale and have transferred the jumps and landings in the notes to keyboard. I demonstrated that if you find the starting point for any song and play only the major scale notes for it you will always sound good.

The Grade Six music class are studying treble and bass clef and are memorizing melodies that I demonstrate. I’m also allowing them to look at sheet music and write the notes.
